Ways to reduce stress

Are you experience the symptoms below:a) headache, b) muscle tension, c) muscle pain, d) chest pain,e) fatigue, f) upset stomach, g) insomnia, h) anxiety, i) restlessness, j) lack of motivation, k) lack of focus, l) eating problems.

If yes, you are under stress. With the final exam in the corner, everyone struggle for a high grade in academic. But it is also important to keep your body in the good condition as it helps to concentrate on the study. Here are some tips to deal with the stressful environment:

a) Don't Stress About Being StressedThis may seem ridiculous at first, but it is listed first for a reason: when you're feeling stressed, you feel like you're on edge and everything is barely being held together. Don't beat yourself up too badly about it! It's all normal, and the best way to handle stress is to not get more stressed about . . . being stressed.

b) Get Some SleepBeing in college or universities means your sleep schedule is, most likely, far from ideal. Getting more sleep can help your mind refocus, recharge, and rebalance. This can mean a quick nap, a night when you go to bed early, or a promise to yourself to stick with a regular sleep schedule. Sometimes, one good night's sleep can be all you need.

c) Get Some FoodGo eat something balanced and healthy: fruits and veggies, whole grains, protein.

d) Get some exercise
You may think that if you don't have the time to sleep and eat properly, you definitely don't have the time to exercise. Fair enough, but if you're feeling stressed, it may be that you need to squeeze it in somehow. Exercise doesn't necessarily have to involve a 2-hour, exhausting workout at the campus gym. It can mean a relaxing, 30-minute walk while listening to your favorite music. In fact, in a little over an hour, you can 1) walk 15 minutes to your favorite off-campus restaurant, 2) eat a quick and healthy meal, 3) walk back, and 4) take a power nap. Imagine how much better you'll feel!

e) Get Some Quiet TimeTake one moment and think: when was the last time you had some quality, quiet time alone? Personal space for students in college or universities rarely exists. You may share your room, your bathroom, your classrooms, your dining hall, the gym, the bookstore, the library, and anywhere else you go during an average day. Finding a few moments of peace and quiet - with no cell phone, roommate, or crowds - might be just what you need. Stepping out from the crazy college or universities environment for a few minutes can do wonders for reducing your stress.

f)Get some social time
Have you been working on that English paper for 3 days straight? Can you even see what you're writing anymore for your Chemistry lab? You could be stressed because you're being too focused on getting things done. Don't forget that your brain is like a muscle, and even it needs a break every once in a while! Take a break and see a movie. Grab some friends and go out dancing. Hop a bus and hang out downtown for a few hours. Having a social life is an important part of your college or universities experience, so don't be afraid to keep it in the picture when you're stressed. It could be when you need it most.

g) Get Some Fun

You may be stressed about one particular thing: a final paper due Monday, a class presentation due Thursday. You basically just need to sit down and plow through it. If this is the case, try to figure out how to make it a little more fun and enjoyable. Is everyone writing final papers? Agree to work together in your room for 2 hours and then order pizza together for dinner. Do a lot of your classmates have huge presentations to put together? See if you can reserve a classroom or room in the library where you can all work together and share supplies. You may just lower everyone's stress level.

h) Get Some DistanceYou may be handling your own problems and trying to help others around you. While this can be nice for them, check in and be honest with yourself about how your helpful may be causing more stress in your life. It's okay to take a step back and focus on yourself for a little while, especially if you are stressed and your academics are at risk. After all, how can you keep helping others if you're not even in a state to help yourself? Figure out which things are causing you the most stress and how you can take a step back from each. And then, most importantly, take that step.

i) Get a Little HelpIt can be hard to ask for help, they may not know how stressed out you are. Most college or universities students are going through the same things at the same thing, so don't feel silly if you need to just vent for 30 minutes over coffee with a friend. It may help you process out what you need to do, and help you realize that the things you are so stressed about are actually pretty manageable. If you're afraid of dumping too much on a friend, most colleges or universities have counseling centers specifically for their students. Don't be afraid to make an appointment if you think it will help.

Mickey mouse exhibition

Last saturday, i went to mid valley and see there are mickey mouse exhibition . I have take this chance to take a lot of photo with the different painting of mickey mouse. What has impressed me is the 10 foot tall mickey mouse in the concourse area which can vibrate 360 degree. Celebrities, artists, members of the media, art college students, tenants at the mall and corporate partners were invited to participate with their own creative interpretation of Mickey and the result is a delightful display of over 350 colorful expressions of the round-eared, white-gloved character. This event "Mickey Mouse Through the Years Project" will be held from 24 May to 17 September 2012. It is best time to go there with your family or friends.

Actions that should take when earthquake occur

Few days ago, a massive earthquake has strike Sumatra. Some areas in Malaysia has been issued to tsunami warning which include Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Kedah. Therefore it is necessary to take the safety steps when earthquake occur:
1. Protect yourself

Protect your head with a helmet or cushion, and hide in a safe place, such as under a table. Running outside is potentially dangerous, because roof tiles and glass may fall on you.

2.Extinguish flame
Major aftershocks can come after the smallest earthquakes. Calmly extinguish any nearby flames.Caution!!If you are cooking, oil or boiling water may spill during the quake. Under such circumstances, you should immediately distance yourself from the oil or water and extinguish the flames after the quake stops.

3.Open the door and secure an escape route
Earthquakes can warp buildings, especially apartment buildings, making it impossible to open doors and escape. Open doors and windows to secure an escape route and prevent yourself from becoming trapped.

4.Be careful of broken glass
You may injure your feet on broken glass and other objects. Prepare a flashlight and slippers near your bed so you will be able to move safely

5.Never return to your home
Once you have evacuated, never return to the house to get money or possessions. You may become trapped under debris or caught in a fire. Try to avoid entering your house until safety is confirmed.

6.Walk to your refuge area
Many emergency vehicles, such as fire engines and ambulances, will be using roads during disasters. Obstructing emergency vehicles immediately increases the damage caused by a disaster. Never use cars during an earthquake.

7.Avoid a phone call after disaster
Phone line usage jumps up during disasters because of people trying to confirm the safety of themselves or others.  This can obstruct emergency phone calls.

8.Calmly obtain accurate information
False rumors and information can spread during disasters, leading to further confusion. Obtain accurate information from the TV or radio and don’t get tricked by misinformation.

Samsung LED TV ES7500

With a dual core processor to aid multitasking, the Samsung LED TV ES7500 and ES8000 are TVs you´ll want to consider buying.
Offering Full HD and 3-D support, the two new models also have Samsung’s proprietary Smart Interaction features and its Smart Content give users a fresh viewing experience.

Unlike conventional TVs where users need to push the On button first, the ES7500 and ES8000 will switch on with voice commands like "Hi TV", while other commands like "Web browser", will allow users to access its built-in apps quickly.

There are more ways to interact with the new models, via the Motion Control feature. Once it´s in its Smart Hub mode, users can start by raising a hand up. The built-in sensor will recognise that the user is initiating the Motion Control feature and pop up a cursor. Users can lead the cursor around the screen and by curling all fingers down, can "grab" a button to select it. Other gestures such as moving the hand anti-clockwise will trigger the TV to go back to the previous screen.

Once users master the voice and motion controllers, there are more reasons to explore the Samsung Smart Hub. Over 1,000 apps are available for download from Samsung but the ones that come preloaded, such as Family Story, Fitness and Kids, make the ES7500 and ES8000 more exciting for the entire family.
